In this Adventurous Acting Class, little actors will get to create fun, original characters, explore imaginary worlds, tell exciting stories, sing songs, and create costumes and props, all while learning acting techniques, trivia, and even easy theater history! Every class will open with singing along to a favorite Disney song or a kid friendly pop song to get our young actors moving and excited! Next, we will get creative with storytelling, acting out different roles, making a craft...
To build confidence, learn about acting and storytelling, learn to make props and costumes and do character makeup, have fun, and meet other creative kids like themselves!
I am an actor, singer, and VoiceOver artist working in Atlanta, Georgia! I have been working in the arts for over ten years both on the stage and in film working as an actor, singer, and even as a director and teacher! I have worked with after school drama programs, as the theater director in a college prep school, and teaching drama and voice virtually since 2020 on Outschool. In addition, I narrate audiobooks and teach special fx and cosplay makeup online. I love sharing my knowledge with young artists and find that they inspire me as much as I aim to inspire them. When not working in the arts, I work with animals, specifically cats, dogs, and rescue horses.
Sometimes we will be making props or costumes or doing theater makeup. I will send you a list of materials needed a week or more before each project so you have time to get what you need for class. I will post these lists in the Classroom page.
