Students will understand the letter shape, the sound the letter represents, and simple rhyming words. Through teacher-directed activities, your child will create a work of art with given letters and letter sounds. These classes are stand-alone courses, and your child will need no prior knowledge of previous classes. There will be times that we may be using Google Slides to present materials that are relevant to the lesson. For example, if we are on a lesson that has to do with the letters of the alphabet, or words that begin with certain vowels, I may use Screen Share to present pictures or words on Google Slides that go along with the lesson. Google Slides will only be used during screen sharing in class.
