This class will be a fun filled 55 minute lesson that will allow for discussion, brain storming, writing, and laughter as we dive into the world of writing a paragraph. Students will work together and with the teacher to write a 5-8 sentence paragraph using the 5 W's (who, what, where, when, why) working from a power point to create ideas on paper. The class will start with a quick lesson on the 5 W's and brainstorming ideas to write about. Then we will dive into finding fun and exciting things to write about. I will give the students ample time to write during class and share ideas with each other. This will be a relaxed and fun lesson to allow students to gain confidence in writing and enjoy putting words on paper!

Students will learn to put their thoughts and ideas on paper with the guidance of the teacher. I will encourage the students to use the 5 W's and organize their ideas for paragraph writing.
