This is not a new course. It is my most popular course. It has been completed by over 550 students and has over 135 reviews. This course was created so that it could be offered as a summer camp (classes will meet 4 times in 1 week). This camp is for beginners. It is a great camp for students that have an interest in fashion and want to learn about fashion design and sketching. In this 4 day camp, students will learn the importance of their style and how to get inspired to create fashion...
Students will: 1. Name ways to get inspired to create fashion designs. 2. Sketch fashion designs that have color schemes, patterns, and/or texture. 3. Be inspired to tap into their creativity.
I love fashion and I began offering fashion design classes for my sewing school students in grades 6 and up, 3 years ago. I quickly learned, that my younger students wanted fashion classes too! This camp/course and A Taste of Fashion Design- Sketch & Design are my most popular offerings on Outschool!
The teacher will provide handouts and a body template for class activities. Students will need to have/purchase: 1. Colored pencils or crayons 2. 2 sharp pencils with erasers 3. Fabric if the student wants to create one of their designs for a doll. 4. Needle and thread for hand sewing, sewing machine, or glue gun if the student wants to create one of the designs for a doll.
