Students will learn the basic setup of the 5 paragraph academic expository essay. Students will learn the elements of the essay, organization of the essay, details for content, formatting the essay, finding their own unique writing "voice" as well as how to properly conclude the essay.

Students will complete the work that we start during each session for homework each week. There will be no other homework assigned. All new ideas will be provided during my brief lectures and most writing will take place during the sessions so that we can all respond and students can get immediate feedback.수업 외 주당 1 - 2 시간

The course assessment will be a completed 5-paragraph expository essay. There will be no letter grade assigned, but students will have a product of their time in the class to use as a guide/model for their writing in school when these subjects are presented to students. Students will receive my feedback throughout the course as well as in their final draft.제공되는 성적
I will personally provide a handout for class sessions while I deliver the brief lecture. Students will only need a pencil or pen and a notebook or loose paper to take notes (if they choose) as well as complete any pre-writing during class.
