If you have one or many sketchbooks laying around collecting dust longing to be filled, then this art club is for you! Join this weekly sketchbook art club to meet up with other creatives just like you and fill up your sketchbook!

In this ongoing weekly class, students will have the opportunity to gather around and socialize in a warm and friendly environment. By providing a safe space for students to gather and discuss their mutual love for art, they'll have a chance to practice important social skills such as respecting when others are talking, taking turns, and listening to one another. 

Students will have the opportunity to share any of their previous masterpieces at the beginning of class. After all have shared, students will be presented with a theme for the week to help with getting inspired and creative with their project of the week. I will be demonstrating via overhead camera ideas on my own sketchbook that students can follow along with or simply use as inspiration for their own designs.

Tuesday, 10/18  - Kawaii Extravaganza
Tuesday, 10/25  -  Halloween/Fall/Autumn

Tuesday, 11/1 - Yummy Desserts
Tuesday, 11/8 - Fan Art - Favorite Video Game or Book Characters
Tuesday, 11/15 - 3 Marker Challenge
Tuesday, 11/22 - Plants, Flowers, Cacti and Colorful Landscapes
Tuesday, 11/29 - Shapes Challenge - All About Circles!


Knowledge of prior week demonstrations will not be necessary as students will be working on those in their own time and coming into class to enjoy new and fresh ideas each week. This allows students to come and go as they please without getting lost.
