In this one-time course, students will learn and review study tips and grammar rules needed to know for the English section of the ACT. This will be an interactive lecture, with the teacher going over test-taking strategies and grammar rules specific to the English section, along with examples from a current practice test. The slides from the lecture will be available for students to download after the class. This course will introduce students to what the English section looks like and what to expect, as well as review the major grammar rules along with practice questions. Students should have an understanding of the English language at at least an 8th grade reading level.
