Payments for the upcoming week are processed every Sunday. To avoid being charged for upcoming missed lessons, please contact me before the Sunday when payment is processed. Once payment has been processed for a lesson, refunds will not be provided. However, learners will have the opportunity to make up missed lessons. If the course is paid for in full upon enrollment, learners will have the opportunity to make up missed lessons.

4th Grade Math focuses on three key advancements from previous years: (1) developing understanding with multi-digit multiplication and division; (2) developing an understanding of fraction equivalence, and certain cases of fraction addition, subtraction, and multiplication; and (3) understanding that geometric figures can be analyzed and classified based on their properties, including their angle measure and symmetry (fishtanklearning.com).

Class Structure: Students will learn and practice a NEW skill each week.  Each session will conclude with a summary of what was covered and what's coming next!  The class structure is purposed to teach 4th grade math standards.  

Teaching Style:  Student-Centered !!!  LOTS of interactive activities, games and discussions !!!  Research proves that a student-centered instructional model is key to learning!  

Interaction Level:  Medium to High !!!  Students will have an opportunity to engage with me and each other through games, video clips and discussions!  It is my first priority to ensure the safety of all students so open chat and open microphone will be limited.  All interactive activities are selected to maximize learning while providing a safe environment to do so!
