주당 1시간. Because of how our lessons are structured, I encourage students to spend some time practicing our skills each week in order to reinforce what was learned in class. Homework should take no more than 20 minutes to complete. If homework takes longer than 20 minutes is a sign that there are still some learning gaps and that your child may need support. Homework can be uploaded and will be checked for correctness and feedback will be provided as seen fit.학습 평가
I believe that assessments are a tool to help determine a student's grasp of knowledge or understanding of the topic. I recognize that assessments are not the only way to evaluate a students understanding. However I like to use assessments as a way to track growth of understanding. Because of this students will have 3 assessments over the period of a unit. All assessments should be completed outside of class -Pre-assessments will help me determine what knowledge students have carried with them from 4th grade. This allows me to see if there are any prerequisite skills I may need to cover before we begin our lesson. -Mid unit Check-ins will be used to see how students are grasping the current concepts. Again it lets me know if I need to go back and help strengthen skills before moving on, if a student really grasps the skills and needs a challenge, or if they are moving at a steady rate. -End Unit Assessments show over all how well the student grasped the skills taught. From this I can determine if a review is needed for a whole class level, individual levels. I like to use all 3 data points to show growth. I found if students are also aware of the data provided by assessments they take pride and ownership of their growth.채점
Grades will be offered, however grades are used to show me where students may need help, or where they may need a challenge.보고계신 지문은 자동 번역 되었습니다

Student vocabulary and student work booklets will be provided at the start of every unit. While printing is optional, I do encourage the use of paper versions as students will be able to interact and write on the paper, helping connect ideas to practice. A digit version will also be provided if printing is not an option. I encourage students to have a white board, a notebook with graph paper (1 cm squares are perfect for showing work), and a good pencil and eraser in class.

Does your child struggle with expressing themselves or communicating with adults and other children? I earned my masters degree developing fun and engaging curriculum that teaches children foundational communication skills. In all of my classes, your kids will become better communicators while learning fun skills from art and science to math and reading. My classes will be offered in small groupings to ensure that all my students needs are met. Those that need to be challenged will receive more engagement and those that need more help will find the support they need.
I am a certified Elementary Teacher with a Masters in Curriculum Design and Instruction from Washington Governor's University. I have been an elementary teacher for four years, one year in second grade and the other three as a fifth grade teacher. For the last year, I have been engaging students in fun online teaching. I love all aspects of being a teacher but my favorite is watching my students gain confidence and independence in class. In my free time, I freelance as a photographer, a graphic designer, and shoe designer. Yes, I designed and sold custom patterned shoes! You could say art is one of my three passions, the others being teaching and my two adorable puppies who you may get to see in class!
