Welcome to Mathletes—where your child’s math adventure begins! Our summer camp is designed to help learners master 4th-grade math concepts with confidence and excitement. Whether your child is reviewing or exploring new concepts, they’ll have a blast while building a strong math foundation.

In our supportive classroom community, homeschooled and traditional learners alike will work together, conquer math challenges, and leave math fears behind. With a certified educator guiding your child every step of the way, they’ll develop the problem-solving skills needed to succeed.

Each week, we explore a new 4th-grade math topic, reinforcing skills and building confidence. We begin with warm-ups to review previous concepts and ensure a solid foundation. Through mini-lessons, we dive deep into the week's topic, offering comprehensive explanations and examples. Learners will then apply what they’ve learned using the "I do, we do, you do" approach, ensuring guided practice before transitioning to independent exercises. Every session ends with a fun, student-selected Gimkit game to reinforce multiplication facts and make learning enjoyable.

💻 What is Nearpod? 💻

Nearpod is an interactive learning platform that helps learners engage actively in lessons, regardless of their comfort level. Whether using digital tools or paper and pencil, students can participate, share their work, and ask questions privately. As an educator, I use Nearpod to deliver engaging slideshows, personalized math problems, and real-time feedback, offering individualized guidance throughout the lesson.

Your learner simply needs to copy the class link or enter the code into the Nearpod app to access the interactive content, or they can follow along using Zoom screen share if they prefer a traditional paper-and-pencil approach.
