Video instructions will be clear and logical to walk learners through the steps to create a simplified Van Gogh painting. Lovejoy has over 15 years of experience helping beginner painters gain confidence as well as encourage creativity for a balanced life. She Teaches online via Youtube and her own school, as well as various platforms like outschool. She also teaches classes and creative team-building events in San Diego, CA. When not teaching Lovejoy is working on her artwork and commissions.

Creativity is a very personalized process, I encourage my students to take "Progress photos" so that when done, they can look back at how they transformed a black canvas into a painting. These photos are a great visual documentation of their learning. In a year or 5 years, they can look back at their photos and realize how far their skills have come. Pre-recorded videos will be shared via a Youtube link, (Outschool embeds the link on its platform so that learners remain on the Outschool platform and don’t access the YouTube website.) each week will have 2 painting options, with the paintings becoming a bit harder each week. The learner can pick 1 or both options to paint. At the end of the week, the student needs to upload photos of their work as well as any questions.
