As a former makeup artist in TV & Film, an actress, and a Beauty Advisor at Sephora, I am well educated in skincare, hair care, skin preparation for makeup, as well as taking care of yourself from the inside out. I have researched skin care ingredients extensively, and as a science geek and BSc Microbiology graduate, I am confident in my knowledge of what skincare ingredients are truly beneficial. I also suffered with acne for many years, and am knowledgeable in the many causes and treatments of acne.
Learners will need to bring any skincare that they like to use, including but not limited to cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer, sheet masks, and lip balms. Students may want to bring a healthy snack or beverage.
Please double check the ingredients of any skincare that your child may be allergic to or not react well with. Please be extra mindful of skincare that contain active ingredients, such as alpha hydroxy acids (glycolic acid, lactic acid), beta hydroxy acid (salicylic acid), vitamin c, retinol etc., as these can be very irritating to the skin.
