Welcome to 2nd Grade Math where students will learn and review their objectives in a fun and engaging way by using Nearpod! This class is perfect for students who are entering 2nd grade or want a review on the 2nd grade math objectives Every lesson will be taught as if it was new to the student to ensure that they understand the material. The lesson will be fun and engaging as they will get to play fun games to reinforce the lesson, do activities like drag and drop activities and many more activities that can be found within Nearpod Students will be able to participate in the class by various formats. They can come off mute and ask questions, they can show their work on the Nearpod, or they can ask questions on the chatbox. Learners will receive an OPTIONAL Kahoot game to reinforce what was learned in the classroom as well as a copy of the Nearpod lesson for reinforcement. I love to ensure students are understanding the material, therefore students will be asked questions throughout the lesson. They can either answer verbally or in the chat box. If after the summer you would like to continue your child’s learning with us please look at the other Fall classes to reserve your spot **Nearpod is a fun and interactive platform that students love because it is extremely hands on. Students will NOT need a paid account to access it. They will receive a link prior to class and at the beginning of the class to simply click on it and login** After Nearpod we will play a fun game of Blooket Week of: May 30: L1.
