2학년 수학 기술

This is a small group tutoring session designed to meet your child's specific needs they need to master before leaving second grade. Through targeted and individualized instruction, my goal is to help your child with whatever struggles they are facing on each skill.  I will be able to give them strategies to work through and ways to overcome those struggles. I am a very outgoing, up beat, and happy person.  I will make the classroom fun, engaging, and a safe environment where they will feel successful.  I am a math instructional coach with a masters degree.  I feel very confident in my success rate.

For our classes, we will work on math lessons for students needing more time and teaching to be successful.  We will work each lesson to increase math knowledge through our live session.  Each class will be tailored to the skills that are foundational and build onto the more difficult skills as we go from week to week.  I have strategies that are aimed to help students who are struggling and need more support.

Concepts that will be worked on: 
Week 1 - First week of Novermber: Place Value
Week 2: Addition one digit by one digit with word problems
Week 3: Addition two digit by two digit with word problems
Week 4: Subtraction two digit by one digit with word problems
Week 5: Money
Week 6: Time
Week 7: Arrays (multiplication and division introduction)
Week 8: Multiplication with word problems
Week 9: Division with word problems

Each week the students will be given a quick assignment that will help show mastery of the skill.  I will tailor to the needs I see, however we will start in this order to help get them on the right track.
