In this 6 week class, students will review all of the math standards from 1st Grade. 

I will show students different ways to solve problems. Students will be able to solve their problems how ever they know how and then be asked to explain how they got their answer to me, as well as the other students. I encourage discussions and encourage students to ask questions.

Week 1: 
Class 1: 2D Shapes- Names and attributes of different polygons.
Class 2: Fractions- Partitioning, identifying, and naming fractions (halves, thirds, and fourths).
Week 2: 
Class 3: Using a place value chart, value of digits, using math vocabulary: ones, tens, and hundreds. Addition into the hundreds place with and without regrouping.
Class 4:Using a place value chart, value of digits, using math vocabulary: ones, tens, and hundreds. Subtraction in to the hundreds place with and without borrowing.
Week 3: 
Class 5: We will practice telling time to nearest half hour. We will practice identifying coins and adding like coins.
Week 6: We will practice counting coins. 
Class 11: We will practice reading different graphs and answering questions that go with  the graphs
Class 12: We will review addition and subtraction.
