Pantoum Poem 
The Pantoum poem comes originally from Malaysia and uses repetition to create memorable poems. You will receive a six-page booklet with instructions and examples of Pantoum poems to help you write your own.

Lesson 4
Draw/create an impression map
You will  learn how to create an impression map that can be used to make our writing more descriptive and develop locations that feel real and full of life. 
 Week 5
Lesson 5
Write a descriptive scene
Use the impression map from lesson 4 to write a descriptive scene. The booklet includes both instructions and examples of descriptive writing to help you write. 
 Week 6
Lesson 6
At most 500-word stories 
The challenge for lesson six is to craft a story with at most 500 words. The booklet will include instructions and one example of a story.

Lesson 7
The pie mishaps
Write a story about two friends baking a pie, but they misread the recipe. 
 Week 8
Lesson 8
15-word poetry 
Writing 15-word poetry is a fun challenge to learn how to say a lot with fewer words. The booklet includes instructions and examples to help you write as many poems as you like.

Add dialogue 
The booklet will include two different options for adding dialogue and information on how to write dialogue.

Character profile 
For lesson ten, you will create a character profile with details like name, habits, fears, and dreams. The booklet will guide you through the steps. The character profile will be used for lesson 11, so don't lose it.

Create an outline
This lesson will teach you how to use the struggle/problems and solution brainstorming technique to get ideas for an outline for a story for the character from lesson 10.  
 Week 12
Lesson 12
Write a chapter 
You will use your character profile from lesson 10 and the outline from lesson 11 to write a chapter of your choice.
