In this Ongoing private reading class, the class will be personalized for the learner. The teacher will assess the reading ability of each student. If a parent knows some specific areas they want and need for their child to work on, we will customize lessons accordingly. 

For some families, I have worked on the student's class spelling words or learning the high-frequency sight word lists sent home from their in-person classroom teacher. 


We will work on the following:
* Phonics
* High-Frequency Sight Words
* Blending letters to sounds
* Blends, digraphs, trigraphs
* Reading for fluency through passages, and sentences 
* Reading books is a possibility
* Reading Comprehension 
* Story Elements
* Writing words
* Writing sentences
* Writing several sentences to make up a paragraph

THIS CLASS IS MY MOST VERY POPULAR CLASS. I TEACH CLOSE TO 10-16 ONE-ON-ONE CLASSES PER WEEK. 

 ESL LEARNERS ARE WELCOME. Students with IEP's or learning challenges welcome.

I am a licensed and certified teacher with 27 years of teaching experience in grades preschool-sixth grade. I have my BS Degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood and my Master's Degree is in Library Science and Information Skills. For the last 3 1/2 years, I have been teaching students online with a school in Asia and now through Outschool. I love to teach and help students excel in their reading and education!
