***1-on-1 tutoring*** This class is for students who need extra support in the skill area of their choice or want to extend their learning into new areas. I will work with you to find ways to help you achieve your goals. I'll teach a skill, you will have the opportunity to practice, and we'll find a fun activity to practice that skill. You may ask questions and I will do my best to help you feel more confident. Here are some skills we can work on during our time together: **Math - addition, subtraction, place value, multiplication, division, fractions, geometry, area and perimeter **English Language Arts - phonemic awareness activities, phonics, reading comprehension skills, fluency, writing (informational, opinion, or narrative), grammar, spelling and word work I ask parents to please message me 24 hrs in advance if possible in order to allow me time to adequately plan lessons and gather required materials. I can also give a brief assessment, as desired, to zero in on skills needing reinforcement. I look forward to meeting and working with your learner!

I love being able to help students become more confident in themselves and their learning. I've been a teacher for 30 years, 15 in 3rd grade alone! I have a Masters in the Art of Teaching, a Teaching of Reading Endorsement, and an Elementary Math Specialist degree. I have worked with students in whole classrooms, co-teach classrooms, small group intervention, 1:1 tutoring, and virtual learning.
