In this ongoing 1:1 tutoring course, learners will gain foundational skills for reading and literacy. After a short, but comprehensive assessment, each lesson will provide new skills your learner needs, and provide opportunities to practice those that they've already learned to continue growing as a reader. I am a licensed Special Educator with over 10 years of experience teaching students in K-8 schools. I have a Masters degree in Curriculum & Instruction and have been trained in Orton-Gillingham methods as well as several phonics curriculums.
