My philosophy is that all students can and will learn. Each student is unique and learn their own way. My enthusiasm, lifelong passion for education and many years of experience are all qualities I bring to the classroom to help each one of my learners to develop and become more confident.
Hello! My name is Rose Northcott (Teacher Rose) and I am from Canada. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, and a Bachelor of Education with teaching qualifications from kindergarten to grade 12. I obtained a teachable in English and Individual and Society. I have been teaching for over 20 years and have taught various grades throughout my career. I am currently teaching grade 8 and lovin it!
As an elementary teacher I teach all subjects. Science, Math, History, Geography, and Literacy. As I do enjoy teaching all these subjects by favourite is literacy. I have a passion for it and love expanding kids knowledge in different genres of books. 
Teaching online is not new to me. I have taught English to Chinese students for many years with several different organizations. I have also taught online during the pandemic to my students.
A few more things about me … I have three beautiful daughters. Two of my daughters are in high school and one is in fifth grade. I really enjoy spending time with them and being a soccer and hockey mom. I also love travelling, reading and coaching soccer.
