Each class begins with a warm up, followed by direct instruction, guided practice, and independent practice, along with an exit ticket, and a warm goodbye. Parents should expect clear direct communication before tutoring sessions, so that teacher may best fit student needs and for a plan to be made in what can be accomplished in the time provided. Teacher suggests meeting 1x per week for 12 weeks for optimum content mastery. However, daily practice can be worked on to achieve content goals. Areas for Study Include: * Language Arts * English 9-12 * English 4-8 * Writing Speed * Reading Fluency * Literary Terms * Reading for Enjoyment * Memorizing Elements of the Periodic Table * Geography through Music * Math through Pre-Algebra * Life Skills * Cooking * Homework * Note-taking * Other areas by Parent Request I offer families a discount for purchasing three classes at a time for this particular class. 3 classes/ $75 Please message teacher to take advantage of this discount.
