I am going to introduce and teach 101 regular Chinese idioms to students within six weeks.
This course will cover:
Week1. Educational idioms and regular idioms for children
Week2. Fable stories and frequent idiom for young people
Week3. Historical stories
Week4. Quotes from literature
Week5. Quotes from celebrities
Week6. Smart idioms in daily conversations
My class will be structured with three parts:the teachers instructions, students feedback, and the interactions between students and teacher. I will introduce each idiom via background story or related pronunciation and definition, along with a couple of effective strategies of comprehensive and memorizing. We will try to recite and do role-play to emphasize some sight idioms. I like to arrange presentations, pair-work or group work to make students get involved , I am also familiar with specific lecture, games, slides, video clips, discussion, etc. My students love to draw idioms, to use play doh to build an idiom story, to observe a good example of their learned idioms via famous speeches, picture books or some pop music.  
My teaching style is very active and student-centered. I always notice the differentiation of my students. I will try my best to activate every student, get them involved into the wisdom and language acquisition of idioms. 
I hope this course will start based on 400-500 vocabulary.
