In this private 1-1 meeting, students will receive guidance from me regarding their Math homework that they need to complete. Throughout the school year, students will be required to complete homework based on the content that was taught in class. At times, students struggle with their homework because they might not have understood the explanations in class. Thus, in this class, the attention will be on providing explanations and teaching the students the material so that they can complete the homework. 

Depending on what the homework is on, there is a possibility that the majority of the homework can be completed within the hour. Please note, however, that there are no guarantees that all the homework will get completed within the hour as all homework vary in length.

The following topics will be covered in class: Carefully reading the instructions and following directions, explaining the topic of the homework and focusing on the topic of the homework. For example, if the homework is on fractions, the student will be explained how to complete fraction equations. 

The class will be taught by focusing on the homework that the student presents to me. Depending on the homework, the student will be given additional suggestions on how to improve their Math skills. For example, if the assignment indicates for students to add three digit numbers, I will present a lesson on how to properly add three digit numbers and I will provide additional samples for the student to see so that they can follow directions when completing their own homework. 

Since this will be a 1-1 class, the student will have the entire hour to interact with me and ask me questions about the homework they have. 

I specialize in Language Arts (All grade levels) and Math (JK - Gr. 8) . During the class, students will be taught various topics depending on what their homework presents. 

The theme of the class will depend on the homework that the students will present to me. For example, if the student completed a lesson on multiplying two digit numbers by two digit numbers then the theme of the class will be pertaining to multiplication. If a student studied division in school, then the theme of the class will be focused on completing division equations.
 
Every class will be different depending on the assignment that student needs to work on. 


➡️If your child does not show up for their session, I will message you in the first few minutes of class starting to inform you of their absence. After ten minutes, I close the Zoom classroom and message you again that they missed class. This is non-refundable as per Outschool policy.

⚠️R E F U N D S /C A N C E L L A T I O N S 

Refunds are only given within a 24 hour notice, if I have been contacted by you, the parent, or the learner. If you cannot make a meeting due to your schedule, please make sure you cancel that meeting before Sunday of that week.

I do not refund if I do not have a message from you within 24 hours. Everyone’s time is valuable, including mine. I can; however, provide you with the learning materials that I planned to help the student with that week. Or we can use those at the next LIVE lesson.

I DO message parents when a learner does not appear in the Zoom meeting within a couple of minutes of the scheduled time. I give 10 minutes of wait time before I sign off, and then I message again to let you know that your learner has missed their tutoring session. This is an Outschool policy that I follow.

If you CANNOT give a 24 HOUR notice, message me, and I will try to fit you into a time that I have during that week, but it is not guaranteed.
