수업 소개
This ongoing coaching tackles anxiety and worry in a relatable and informative way. These coaching sessions are for 50 minutes. The personalized nature of this one-on-one class allows for individualized lessons to meet the needs of each learner. Topics can include: -Explaining what anxiety is -Teaching about common anxiety body cues that many people experience -Reflecting on how thoughts can influence anxiety -Discussing different ways anxiety can be measured -Teaching coping strategies for Anxiety The coaching sessions will be a nice mix of visual presentation, discussion, and interactive activities. An individualized plan will be developed once meeting with the student and identifying their needs. No prior knowledge or experience is required to participate in this class and all are welcome. Each coaching session will introduce a new coping strategy. A few examples of strategies taught include: deep breathing, guided relaxation, muscle relaxation, visualization, expressive art, and movement. **As a disclaimer, this class is NOT a substitution for mental health treatment, counseling, or therapy.
