I'm an academic interventionist and have been supporting students and families with this work for almost 7 years. My goal is to help students apply the best strategy to problem-solving for themselves. I help many students with mild to moderate disabilities navigate their school and academic lives. I work with students with physical, emotional, mental, or learning disabilities and serve students who are experiencing various challenges. 

This course is open to all learners regardless of ability status as I assess the student's academic needs and make a plan with the child and family. I then adapt a learning plan to help the child improve in that subject matter over time. My methods include play-based, rote learning, traditional method, core knowledge, common core methods, visual and kinesthetic examples, word problems, and real-life application.
