Students will learn to express themselves authentically on their instrument. They will have an empowered foundation on piano that allows them to learn any song they wish, as well as the skills to compose and produce their own music, if interested.

Georgia has had the privilege of teaching thousands children and teens music over the past decade as a private instructor, community music teacher, and teaching artist.

She is an active working musician in Pittsburgh, has recorded three full-length albums, and makes visual art. She graduated from Berklee College of Music with honors in 2014, with a BA in songwriting, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Music Therapy at Duquesne University to better inform the mental-health supporting elements of the You Be You curriculum.

Students should practice 10-45 minutes daily (depending on age and ability.) Our teacher and your learner will set an achievable practice goal each week.

Students will play their scales and exercises along with a metronome to measure increased weekly agility. Students will also play their practice song of the week for their instructor at the start of each class!
