Think of it as waking up to your morning paper with your coffee and slippers...... but WAY MORE FUN! Let's get this day started! 

Get Up! Homeroom Hangout is a daily 30 minute easy homeroom course. Perfect for a fresh start to each new day, or the ending to a challenging week! Mixing art, music, Fun Facts, affirmations, interactive fun and conversation starters!

Get your day started! In this instructor led class, students will meet and hang with friends, play fun games ,learn fun facts and useful social skills! Meet-ups are quick, fun, low-stress and include a variety of topics including words of the day, affirmation of the day, Kahoot games, Who-dunnit mysteries and more to get those productive juices flowing!!


Here's a sample of our daily routine: 
1) "What's the word" -At the start all students write down the word of the day and discuss
2) "The weather team"- report the weather from each coast of the US
3) "Tell me something good" - a quick class check-in that gives every student a chance to talk about personal goals for the week (1-2 minutes each student )
4) Group Games and puzzles
5) Last but not least, Students will be given an affirmation of the day to lift morale and get them going!

The class will be structured but flexible to the needs and ideas of the group.

NOTE:  Ongoing courses do not have an end date so once the above topics are completed, new topics will be introduced in upcoming weeks.

With a quick witty teaching style, this class is sure to be a blast!
Learners get to interact with myself and each other as we talk laugh and ask questions!
No required experience or knowledge needed!

This class will provide social opportunities, fun, laughter, and joy for our learners. We will work on positive interactions and kindness. Learners will be able to set personal goals  and share progress updates in a setting designed to encourage one another. 
 

This class is open to all learners. Students are encouraged to participate .
