I will provide comprehensive worksheets that students will need to complete by either printing them out and scanning them back into the computer once complete, taking a picture of the completed work and submitting the picture, or completing a digital copy; if students don't have the ability to print, they can write down the questions and answers on a plain piece of paper and submit that. 

Learners will need supplies to create their research project which may be as basic or complex as the student's want. 

Review videos from YouTube may be utilized. Virtual Field Trip videos may need to be accessed through YouTube. Kahoot and other sources may be used for review activities.

Although it won't be the focus, we will be discussing the death count and the violence between the Battle of Gettysburg that may be sensitive for some students. This is why the class is directed for middle school aged students and up. 

The books and videos I will be referencing will be mostly directed towards middle school students, so upper level high school students may find the reference content too basic. However, the virtual field trip videos and assignments are suited for middle school and up so it's not necessarily too "young" for some high school students. I recommend 6th-9th/10th grade. 

Students will be asked to follow links to watch YouTube videos. They may need an adult account to watch videos that may be blocked under the child accounts. Students may follow links to watch presentations on Canva, this will not require a login. 

Students will need to create a guest account and nickname for Kahoot! and Nearpod. They will also need a class code.

Students will follow a shared link to a google slides presentation. No login is required.
