Students will learn general knowledge about Japan's location and size. Then move through some major cities as we "Travel" together on a virtual field trip through Japan. The topics that will be covered are general info and culture of Japan and highlight some landmarks of major cities, as well as, more info on those cities. Course is catered to students without in-depth knowledge of Japan, if your child does have that knowledge and is looking to expand on that, this class touches on some...
Students will improve their understanding of other cultures and open their mind to always pursuing to find out more about our wonderful world and the people in it.
Being a world traveler, Japan is one of the many beautiful countries that I have been lucky enough to have visited multiple times. I have done extensive research of Japan as I was going to live there while teaching ESL in local schools. Covid-19 kept me from doing that for now, but I have studied for many years about the culture as it was going to be my new home and have witnessed the culture first hand in my many trips to the country.
