1 pipe cleaner cut in half (both parts are needed) - any color, but green, yellow or brown would work best for corn 24 pony beads - any colors can be used, but corn colors would be yellow, white, brown/tan, green, blue, purple, red, and orange. (Pony beads work best. Students have struggled in the past to make this work with other kinds of beads.) optional - yarn or string to make the corn into a necklace, but this is not required

This class will not address the true history of Thanksgiving due to the sensitive content of that history. I might mention that the 1621 story was not the "first thanksgiving," if Thanksgiving comes up, but that is all. Parents, please be on hand (but off screen!) to assist with the craft as needed.
