3年生と4年生の理科 - インタラクティブ学習: フルカリキュラム第2四半期

Join me as we continue our Third and Fourth grade science adventure! This is semester two of the full curricula. Students do not need to take semester one prior to this class. It is suggested, but not required. We will focus on topics that are aligned with the third and fourth grade Next Generation Science Standards. Every lesson is interactive and includes a hands-on activity or experiment to help students visualize the lesson. I encourage students to share stories, experiences, and any artifacts that they may have for the weekly topic! 

Each week I will post optional worksheets and extra activities in the classroom for students to complete, if they choose. This is helpful for students who enjoy the topics and would like to continue being a scientist throughout the week! 
I will be available to answer any questions that students post in the classroom within 24 hours. I also encourage students/parents to post pictures of their work or experiments in the classroom. This is a fun way for students to connect as well!

Week #5 Energy- Static electricity exploration 
Week #6 Energy- Introduction to states of matter 
Week #7 Energy- Changing states of matter 
Week #8 Motions and Stability/Energy- Balanced or unbalanced?
Week #9 Earth's Place in the Universe- Introduction to rock identification & rock cycle
Week #10 Earth's Place in the Universe - Continued rock cycle & experiment

All materials for class will be posted the week before. Some activities and experiments are subject to change as students' interests may turn us towards a different experiment/activity. I support student-led learning and encourage students to try different methods when experimenting with our activities.
