By the end of this class, students will be able to use descriptive words to describe a setting and a character from the book.  They will also know about basic characterization, simple plot structure, settings, and prediction. This is a one-time class focused on the Never Girls book series; thus, each class will be a stand-alone lesson.Even though this is a "book club," each class will have a different literary focus in addition to review of the three major elements of plot, setting and characters. This particular class will emphasize descriptive words and discuss the misunderstood character of Bingo, the cat.
In addition, the soft skills of communication will be taught and practiced, especially during the last five minute craft time.  This class will draw a cat for the class craft.
