Welcome to this one time science class where students will learn about the life cycle of a pumpkin. Students will also learn that plants begin from a seed and that they need soil, water, and sunlight to grow. They will have fun watching an interesting real life video of an actual pumpkin seed sprouting, growing roots, and growing into a plant. Pictures of some of the largest pumpkins grown will be shared with the students.
