During each session of this fun camp/multi-day course, we will learn about a new ocean animal each lesson. Each animal lesson will include facts about their life cycle, special skills, habitat, diet, importance in the ecosystem, etc. We'll talk about how we can help each animal survive for generations to come. Then, learners will participate in a step-by-step drawing tutorial. Drawing is a great way for your learner to express themselves, improve hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, gain confidence, and to creatively think. In each class, we speak about how although all of us may look different from one another, we are all awesome, amazing, and incredible people! Our drawings will be just like us - even though each drawing may look a little different, they are all going to be awesome, amazing, and incredible! Learners will have opportunities to read aloud individually, but will never be pressured to do so. No previous knowledge/drawing expertise is needed! Lesson One: Narwhals Lesson Two: Green Sea Turtles Lesson Three: Blue-Ringed Octopus & Giant Pacific Octopus Lesson Four: Orcas I look forward to meeting you in class! Materials: Paper Sharpened pencil Eraser Colored pencils and/or Crayons

I have previously taught pre-kindergarten, second grade, and on various online platforms. I have an Associate's Degree in Communication, a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies (with a minor in Organizational Leadership), and have completed the Teaching English as a Foreign Language program (from the International TEFL Academy).
