This class will keep you on your feet, literally! Are you ready for an incredibly exciting learning experience? Well, I'm so glad you're here. Welcome to the dojo! Students will learn the traditional karate blocks and punches, in a very interactive, fun-filled, focused, and positive environment!
There is no need to have any previous martial arts experience, as I am here to guide you every step of the way! I am a second-degree black belt and an Ontario-certified teacher. Thus, it's safe to say that my love for teaching, which started when I was 5 years old in the dojo, also led me to the classroom. I combine my educational knowledge from the karate dojo, soccer field (yes, I was a soccer coach, as well!), university, and the classroom, in order to bring every student the most wholesome learning experience. My classes will keep you on your feet, literally! It is an incredibly exciting time. I have a great deal of experience in tutoring and teaching, and look forward to bringing every student a very authentic, and engaging learning experience! See you in the dojo!
Please ensure that students have comfortable clothing on, room to move around and jump, and water nearby! Students are encouraged to stretch beforehand. We will most definitely also be stretching in class, as well! Thank you!
