In weekly application assignments, students may be asked to analyze and evaluate the success of the social media presence of the brand of their choosing on a particular social network. While these assignments are optional, students that choose to complete the assignments will have to navigate the social media profile of a company. Parental guidance is advised.

With parental guidance, students will need to access social media networks in these assignments. Assignments can be downloaded as a editable word document and can be completed on the word document and submitted to the teacher during the teacher interaction window for feedback. Students will take quizzes via Google Forms. Students will be provided with the link to purchase the accompanying online textbook for this class, "Essentials of Social Media Marketing,” by Michelle Charello.
