In this course, we will practice vocabulary, taking turns, speaking in front of peers, describing an object, and manners such as please and thank you. Students will be asked to bring their favorite toy to the class. Before we begin sharing, we will go over the expectations of show and tell. We will discuss positive things we can say to one another about items. We will discuss waiting for our turn to talk about our item. I will go first and allow students to practice their manners and turn taking. I will also model how to describe an object's appearance and what it is made to do.
