The ability to express ourselves comes easily and naturally when we get to talk about things we love. This class allows learners to learn the art of presentation and public speaking by sharing the things they love while making friends online. In this class, we will practice speaking, listening, and inquiry skills while having fun! Does your learner have a favourite stuffy or drawing they may want to share? Do they have skills such as juggling, magic tricks, playing an instrument, or demonstrating a new language they are learning? This is an opportunity to let each child's unique interests and brilliance shine! This class is learner-driven, and children need to come to class with one or two things they want to share and talk about. We will take turns sharing one thing each, and if time allows, go around again with a second item. NOTE: This class currently meets every two weeks

Northern Lights Academy is a Canadian based educational platform offering classes for
children ages 3 – 18 from any learning path, whether that is a
traditional school setting or home education. We offer both academic
and exploratory classes, and operate with the intention of supporting,
enhancing, and supplementing learning for all children on their
individual education journey.
Here at Northern Lights Academy, we strive to foster a love of learning,
encourage learners to become curious of the world around them, and to
feel confident in their abilities and sense of self. It's our belief,
that every child has a gift and it's our responsibility as educators to
help them recognize it and embrace it.
Whether you are looking for academic support for your child(ren) or
enrichment classes to take learning just a little bit deeper, we aim to
