7年生の数学の個別指導

This course is designed for  7th graders to get extra help and excel in Math.  
The goal of the class is to keep 7th graders ahead of the curve and not fall behind in this subject.  The class will meet twice a week and each class will be 30 minutes.  It will continue for the whole school year.  All students will be active participants and will be asked to answer questions to make sure they are following along.  Feedback and concerns will be addressed to parents so that this class can achieve the desired results.  
Topics to be covered:
1) Add, subtract, multiply and divide rational numbers.
2) Understand proportional relationships and use them to find rates and unit rates; use tables and graphs to test whether different quantities are proportional.
3) Use the four operations (+, -, x, ÷) on decimals, fractions, and percentages in a variety of different types of problems.
4) Solve algebraic equations and inequalities with at least one variable (unknown number).
5) Fluidly convert decimals to fractions (and vice versa) and place both on a number line.
6) Use scale drawings and formulas to solve real-world problems involving area, volume, and surface area of two- and three-dimensional shapes.
6) Know the formulas for the area and circumference of a circle.
