読書評価とコンサルティング: Acadience Reading K-6

If your child is having ongoing difficulty with reading and you're not sure how to help, this reading assessment and consultation will guide you in the right direction to ensure your child gets the support they need. 

This is a one time session which will include an assessment in all areas of reading, including phonemic awareness, letter naming, nonsense word fluency, segmenting fluency, oral reading fluency and comprehension. The specific assessments used will be determined by your child's age and grade level. Acadience K-6 reading assessments are standardized, reliable and assess core early literacy skills. 

I will also allow time during this session to speak to your child about their experience with reading and choose a short book of interest to read together, which will give me additional informal information about their reading.

After the session is complete, I will provide you with the assessment data and consult with you on the findings and the next steps. I will identify key areas of focus, based on the results, which will support reading progress and offer any additional guidance as needed.
