Looking for a custom-tailored learning experience that supports your child’s unique academic needs? This ongoing one-on-one tutoring class provides personalized instruction in key subject areas, including math, reading, and writing. Whether your learner needs support, enrichment, or confidence-building, each session will focus on their learning needs.

When enrolling, please share the subject area(s) you'd like to focus on and your learner’s approximate grade level. I will design lessons and activities to target their goals while making learning engaging and approachable.

📘 Sample focus areas include:

Upper Elementary Math (review, practice, or enrichment across grade levels)

Reading Comprehension (fiction and nonfiction texts with guided skills practice)

Writing Skills (structured writing prompts and the writing process)

A customized combination of subjects, based on your learner’s needs

This is an ongoing class, so students may join or leave at any time. Each session is flexible and student-centered, helping your child grow at their own pace with consistent, encouraging guidance.

Hi! I’m a certified Elementary Educator with a Master’s in Educational Leadership and over 18 years of classroom experience, both in the U.S. and around the world. My teaching journey has taken me to international schools in New Zealand, Kazakhstan, Thailand, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, where my family and I had the privilege of living for 15 years. These global experiences have shaped my teaching philosophy and deepened my commitment to working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

I specialize in small-group and one-on-one instruction, where I can truly connect with learners, foster curiosity, and empower them to take ownership of their learning. I believe that meaningful relationships are the foundation for authentic education—and I strive to make every student feel valued, seen, and supported.

On Outschool, I teach a wide range of classes including various levels of math, problem-solving sessions, world travel and geography lessons, book clubs, nature journaling, tutoring, reading comprehension courses, and novel studies. No matter the topic, I prioritize engagement, quality instruction, and making learning fun and relevant.

Outside the classroom, I’m a passionate long-distance trail runner, an avid reader, and a lifelong traveler. I love being outdoors and believe that adventure, both in life and learning, helps us grow in the most meaningful ways. I’m also a proud mom of two young children and married to a fellow teacher (you might see him on Outschool, too!).
