In this ongoing, one-on-one private tutoring class, I will work with your child to help them come to understand and grow more fond of creative writing. As this class is designed around your learner, you can choose the focus of our material during each lesson. Some of the areas that I can help with are: grammar, punctuation, vocabulary and word choice, essay writing, letter writing, creative writing and the techniques involved in each.  

Students will learn the essential concepts in writing while being fun and engaging, using themes the student is most familiar with to make more concrete connections. They will interact with the teacher via video and chat in addition to course materials being attached to the platform for reference. The class is structured to meet once a week and will go over the specific needs within the writing process for your student. 

There will be in-class activities tailored to the needs of your student in relation to the writing process or areas that have been requested for us to focus on. 

For example, some of the topics that would be discussed for general essay writing would be choosing a topic, brainstorming, outlining, writing and editing an essay as well as the type of language and techniques used specifically for essay writing. 

This class will work on improving your child’s writing skills and make it easier to write. Each session will be tailored to your individual student to ensure learning needs are met. Learners will be engaged directly one on one with me to get a customized experience with direct feedback. There is no required experience that learners need.
