In these preschool circle time classes we will sing our welcome song, go over the day of the week, weather and what we should wear with that kind of weather. Students will improve following 1-step and 2-step directions. Students will improve retelling information from a story. Students will improve reciting the alphabet, identifying the sound of each letter, and matching uppercase letters to lowercase letters. Students will improve sorting by color, shape, & size. Students will improve recognizing simple patterns & duplicate them. Students will improve to identify simple colors and interprets pictures. Students will improve to participate in group music experiences, participate in creative movement, and sing along with simple songs.
I am currently in school to finish my bachelor of science in elementary education and special education. I have homeschooled my own children and taught for homeschool co-op groups. I will be using my 10 years of health care experience to demonstrate inclusive body movement.

Your child may need water near by for the movement activities through out class, it's not a dance/movement class but I do encourage children to move with the lessons if they want to.

We will be moving throughout class so please have a safe area to be able to jump, skip, etc. around. If your child is unable to move around for whatever reason I will show "chair movements"; they can do movements with their arms so everyone can join the fun.
We will be singing nursery rhymes if it goes with the class that day, it is not everyday that we sing nursery rhymes. The welcome and goodbye songs are my own.
