In this fun, hands on, interactive class, we will learn all about poetry! Each day, students will listen to poetry, learn about a literary device used in poetry, and write poetry! I'm hoping they will come to love poetry as much as me. Here is a break down of each day: Day 1: We will talk about what poetry is, listen to many fun, engaging poems and then learn about the literary device, "alliteration." We will then try to use alliteration as we write acrostic poems, using the students'...
Students will learn all about poetic devices and different forms of poetry, while having fun and writing their own poems.
