ゲームを使ったフォニックスの練習

This class is an individual class with a focus on phonics and reading.  First, the teacher will evaluate the student's phonics skills.  The skills evaluated and then taught are: vowel sounds both short and long, consonant-vowel-consonant words, consonant-vowel-consonant-letter "e" words, inflectional endings such as -ing and -ed, digraphs such as "sh" and "ph", blends such as "bl" and "dr", hard and soft "c" and "g", vowel pairs such as "ai" and "oe", vowel diphthongs such as "oi" and "au", compound words, etc.  Phonics games and activities will then be used to help the student enjoy learning to read.  The student may want to use a pencil and paper or manipulatives but that is optional.  All necessary materials are provided by the teacher.   The student can take as many classes as desired. The classes will build on each other and different games are used each time.  After each class, the teacher may suggest more learning activities for the student.
