Etymology of words connected to these stories will be discussed. Information is sourced from Pseudo-Apollodorus' 'Bibliotheca', Hyginus' 'Fabulae', fragments of Euripides' 'Andromeda' as the play has been lost to time, Herodotus' 'Histories', Ovid's 'Metamorphoses', and Hesiod's 'Shield of Heracles'. Further information is sourced from the works including, but not limited to, of Pindar, Sappho, Sophocles, and Homer.
