Students will work on reading short vowel CVC words and FRY's 1st list of High Frequency words. The teacher will be using the Orton-Gillingham method and the recipe for reading sequence. I have been a certified teacher in Kentucky for 15 years. I have taught in the Elementary classroom setting and in the Special Education setting. I have attended Orton-Gillingham trainings and received certification to work with this program. I also have two children who struggle with dyslexia along with 20% of the population of learners. I would love to help your child learn to read with this program.
