Some students may want to actively participate in class and research the upcoming state in order to bring interesting, fun, and factual information to the class. Students will be required to write a 5-sentence paragraph about the state we just visited. The student will have 3 days after the class is completed to turn in the paragraph to the teacher. The teacher will review the paragraph and send feedback to each student. In addition, each student may want to make their own scrapbook for all the states they have visited. After enrollment, the student will receive the information on the new state we are visiting. There will be some information on this handout, but it is encouraged for each student to find additional information about each state.テスト
Students will be assessed informally in class.この文章は自動翻訳されています

Students will learn the key facts as we take a road trip across The United States of America. Each week we will discover the capital, special landmarks, fun facts, and other interesting and important information in the current state we are in. This class is designed for students to enter the class at any point in the ongoing status because each week will be a new state. Students will receive information prior to class on which state we will be traveling into. Each student can then research information they find interesting and/or important to bring to class. EACH CLASS SECTION IS ON A DIFFERENT STATE EACH WEEK. WE ARE VISITING EACH STATE IN ORDER OF STATEHOOD. If the number of classes in the section say, for example "4th meeting of 52", then we are on the 4th state (Georgia) or close to this. There is no worry about states students may have missed prior to enrollment as this class never ends. Once we finish with Hawaii (the last state), the very next week, we go back to Delaware (the first state). With this being said, we do add the nation's capital into the order, as well. The order of states, typically, follows: 1st meeting: Delaware 2nd meeting: Pennsylvania 3rd meeting: New Jersey 4th meeting: Georgia 5th meeting: Connecticut 6th meeting: Massachusetts 7th meeting: Maryland 8th meeting: Washington DC 9th meeting: South Carolina 10th meeting: New Hampshire 11th meeting: Virginia 12th meeting: New York 13th meeting: North Carolina 14th meeting: Rhode Island 15th meeting: Vermont 16th meeting: Kentucky 17th meeting: Tennessee 18th meeting: Ohio 19th meeting: Louisiana 20th meeting: Indiana 21st meeting: Mississippi 22nd meeting: Illinois 23rd meeting: Alabama 24th meeting: Maine 25th meeting: Missouri 26th meeting: Arkansas 27th meeting: Michigan 28th meeting: Florida 29th meeting: Texas 30th meeting: Iowa 31st meeting: Wisconsin 32nd meeting: California 33rd meeting: Minnesota 34th meeting: Oregon 35th meeting: Kansas 36th meeting: West Virginia 37th meeting: Nevada 38th meeting: Nebraska 39th meeting: Colorado 40th meeting: North Dakota 41st meeting: South Dakota 42nd meeting: Montana 43rd meeting: Washington 44th meeting: Idaho 45th meeting: Wyoming 46th meeting: Utah 47th meeting: Oklahoma 48th meeting: New Mexico 49th meeting: Arizona 50th meeting: Alaska 51st meeting: Hawaii Then I will create a new section starting back at #1 and transfer any current students to the new section. This class will be interactive as each student has the ability to discover information about a state and share the information with the other classmates. In fact, it is encouraged for each student to bring a discovery to class. When each student is allowed a voice, in addition to the teacher, the wealth of information can be great. This will be an exciting adventure. Each student will receive a picture of every completed state for their scrapbook. (the scrapbook can be created at home on an individual basis. There will be times throughout the ongoing class where student can show-off their individual scrapbooks. I like to be a hands-on-to-learning teacher. This class is not about the teacher. The students are the focus and will guide the course. The teacher is just the facilitator. For this class, there is no prior knowledge required to attend this class.

Hello. My name is Teacher Tanya.
Greetings,
I am Teacher Tanya, a dedicated educator with a rich personal and professional background.
In my personal life, I fulfill roles as a devoted wife, a mother to nine children, a grandmother to sixteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Teaching, reading, and traveling in my RV are my passions.
Central to my philosophy is the belief that continuous learning is essential for personal growth. I advocate for acquiring new knowledge daily to enrich our lives. As an educator, I employ the 5 E's approach—Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate—while also emphasizing the importance of "Extend" in teaching.
Regarding my education and experience, I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development and have pursued extensive coursework towards a Master's Degree in Education: Curriculum and Instruction. Additionally, I possess a Master's Degree in Business Administration. Call me crazy, but I am currently working on a Doctorate is Education: Organizational Leadership.
With fifteen years of experience owning and operating state-licensed and accredited preschool, childcare, and school-age centers, I have a solid foundation in education. I have, also, served as a substitute teacher for middle and high school students, including fulfilling long-term positions in core academic subjects.
Having dedicated over 25 years to working with children in both classroom settings and extracurricular activities, I have taught a diverse range of subjects such as English, Reading, History, Math, Science, and ESL, to students with diverse abilities.
I appreciate your time in reviewing my profile and consider it an honor. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to meet your child and your family.
Thank you.
