This is an interactive Pre-K hour for your adventure loving student. Each week students will play interactive learning games to uncover clues that will lead them to the "mystery creature" of the week. Each week there will be a brief "show & tell" time. Science: Each week students will learn about one creature and its habitat. Student will learn the terms mammal, fish, reptile, bird, and crustacean. Math: Students will practice counting to 100, and identifying numbers 1-100. Students will practice identifying and naming shapes. Students will practice completing patterns. Students will practice simple addition and subtraction. Language/Reading: Student will practice identifying letters associated letter sounds. Students will practice matching uppercase and lowercase letters. Students will practice reading comprehension skills. Students will be introduced to CVC words and sight words.
Printer, scissors, and crayons. Octonaut toys are welcome, but not required.
