As a certified Earth and Space Science teacher, I have over ten years of science instruction experience. Teaching oceanography is a true passion of mine, and I am enthusiastic and engaging in my instruction style. I've been selected by NASA to present on its behalf to other Earth and Space Science teachers and at national educator conferences. I know you'll love my course! It is my mission to help students become lifelong learners. I develop a good rapport with each student with my sense of humor, enthusiasm, and the ability to relate scientific concepts to students' everyday lives. While many students enter my class thinking science is boring, it is rare that they leave still believing so. I've won numerous awards and accolades for my highly-effective teaching strategies, and I know your young scholar will thrive in my classroom!

Learner progress will be evaluated through a variety of methods. These may include teacher questioning, warm-ups and exit tickets, and other activities. While I will demonstrate labs and concepts for students, they will not be required to complete lab activities.成績が提供されます
Students will only need a pen or pencil and either coloring pencils or markers to create an ocean's zones graphic organizer.

This is an age-appropriate science course that examines Earth's oceans. We will be discussing the impacts of offshore oil drilling and the lesson will be presented in a non-biased, pros-and-cons manner. We also will discuss the age of stromatolites and other organisms from early oceans. Please contact me prior to signing up if you have already taken my Earth and Space Science course!
